6 interlocking bands can be taken apart, forming a puzzle to be put back together. Sometimes called "Turkish puzzle rings," these are thought to have originated in Asia over 2000 years ago, and to have appeared in Eurupe in the 12th century. Solving a puzzle ring requires patience, but once you get the hang of it, you can reassemble the ring very quickly.
